Hawaii-based Big Island Sounds and Entertainment is a record label and"artist resource" for musicians and bands whom we feel strongly about.The artists we come to be involved with are an exclusive group - they must be generating music that appeals to us, that is our main criteria.

The modern day has brought with it the dawning of a new era for musicians. No longer is an artist limited by a corrupt system that has been designed to keep bands/performers on a short leash - with the advent of Digital Audio Workstations, the marketing potentials of the Internet (and internet based radio), and home computer technology -musicians now have all the tools they need to compete on nearly every level with large, exploitative record labels.

Big Island Sounds & Entertainment exists to bridge the gaps between artists who have something important to say, the tools they need to make their creations available to the worldwide, and the music- buying public. We are not soliciting new material from bands or performers at this point in our development -the artists we work with are hand-selected or referred to us by our industry contacts. We have chosen this path to remain true to our vision of musical integrity - offering music that we believe is relevant...period.
