Besides his work as a percussionist in numerous bandprojects (like Kalan or Cordion, the duoproject with Ramona Kasheer) he creates music for contemporary dance performances, butoh performances and theaterprojects featuring all over the world.

His collaborations with dance-companies like Kanazawa Butoh Kan and Mayu Kan and choreographers like Moe Yamamoto have been the basic inspiration for most of the tracks of his debut solo album "re member" (featuring vocalists Lilian Fritz, Maria Grünbaum, Aiko Kazuko Kurosaki, Brigitte Deutsch and violinist Christina Gaismeier).
