Hailing from Birmingham, one of England's best-known locales for aggressive, in-your-face music, Beestung Lips brought forth their particular brand of frenetic, hyperactive punk rock on their debut EP, Songs to and from an Iron Gut.
The band has drawn comparisons to Hot Snakes, Gallows, and the Jesus Lizard. In fact, Beestung Lips were honored early on to share a stage with the Jesus Lizard's former frontman David Yow's later project, Qui. ~ Chris True
