Singer/guitarist Aaron Kellim, guitarist John Webb, drummer Nate Moran, and bassist Nolan Wright formed the band during the mid-2000s, and Bear Hug Jersey began playing shows in nearby St. Louis while honing their craft and recording demo material. Although still unsigned, the band's youthful sound attracted attention from MTV, which featured a track from their self-titled EP during an episode of The Hills. ~ Andrew Leahey
