Worship Philosophy:
Worship is a lifestyle.
Romans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship."
Everything we do should show that we are growing into the image of God.
Worship is Thanksgiving
Psalm 100:1-5 "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are hisa; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
Being thankful is the key to entering the presence of God. Before making requests known to God there should first be a time to thank him for everything he has already done. Thanksgiving is literally the killing off of the flesh and humbling oneself to God. When someone is constantly thanking God, it takes the attention off of the individual and makes them realize that they cannot do anything within their own strength. This glorifies God and makes him happy.
Individual Worship
The goal of worship is to see only the Lord. It is a conversation between God and man; the ability to glorify God with ones whole self; intimacy with the father.
Matthew 6:6 "But you, when you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly."
Intimacy with the father requires to be in a place that is free from distraction. Personal time with God is very important because it gets rid of all of the other voices in ones life and gives God an opportunity to come in and speak the truth.
Corporate Worship
In Genesis 2:18 God said that it was not good for man to be alone.
Corporate worship is good because it allows believers to come together and lift up one another in love, faith, and fellowship.
Going in to corporate worship builds faith and releases knowledge into the lives of the congregation.
Power is released when believers come together and lift up a praise to God.
Mission Statement:
To create and lead people into an atmosphere of worship where they are free to be who God has called them to be. Our goal is to teach people how to enter into Gods presence and have a one on one encounter with the Father.
