Baptis’ Abu KayMariOn aka Teezmo
Born Byron Trotman on August 20, 1981 in Scarborough, Ontario to Guyanese Parents. Where he grew up in the Toronto Housing Area named Glendower Circuit with his mother and 6 siblings. Growing up there he was influenced to write reggae music because of the heavy Jamaican presents in the neighbourhood. Influenced by artist such as Buju Banton, Bounty Killa & Shabba Ranks etc. He continued to write reggae music from ages 12-23 until his computer broke down causing him to lose everything. After losing all his reggae lyrics, he started rapping due to his friends rapping around him. Influenced by greats like 2pac & Ice T, he moulded his style.

But due to his struggles with alcohol abuse, life distractions and lack of inspiration his talent went to waste for many years. Fast forward to after changing his life and having a wife and 3 kids (all boys) the inspiration is back. Changing his name from just “Baptist” to "Baptis’ Abu KayMariOn" meaning Baptis’ father of KAYdron, oMARI & jevON.
