A journeyman of the Belgian rock scene, guitarist and bassist Axl Peleman appeared in several influential bands before embarking on a solo career.
Born in Antwerp in 1971, he first found fame with Ashbury Faith, who released three albums before splitting in 1998. Following stints in the Paranoiacs and Camden, he switched his attention to TV, presenting Aan Tafel and De Tabel Van Mendelejev. He also performed in Flemish outfit De Kreuners, and released three solo records, 2007's Dagget Wet, 2009's In't Gezicht, and 2011's Volksliekes. ~ Jon O'Brien
