This Rapper/ Writer was born Jonell Green on July 5th 1975.
Raised in the streets of Tacoma Wa, he absorbed the mixed cultural history of the Northwest, and uses his love of Hip Hop to bring the Puget Sound a unique style and eclectic mix of Rap/ Hip Hop/ Indy Music. In 1988,Awall and his brother’s took 1st place in a talent show at Seattle Center and was featured on a nationally viewed TV show called “Kids Week”. That experience inspired him and he has continued writing and performing ever since.Recently he teamed up with producer Boombox Massacre to record and release “Boombox Massacre, The Mixtape Ft. Awall Aka 2piece” this CD features hits such as “Hatin’s Ur Occupation” Ft. Josh Rizeberg, Victory Lap And “Tacoma Had Me”, Beats by Boombox Massacre, lyrics by Awall. This is not the first album featuring Awall Aka 2piece, Awall has been featured on Albums such as “Tacoma’s Finest compilation Its Rainin Dope”, “Mr D.O.G.’S album “Wet” “Felony Entertainments Welcome to my City “, “Young Krime aka Da Ghetto Baby’s Product of the Ghetto”, ” and Dis World Ain’t Enuff”, And came out with his own Solo Album “Northwest Nugget” in April 2008.

Awall has had the opportunity to open up for such Artist as “Mac Mall, Mac Dre, Bushwick Bill, Brotha Lynch, Tommy Davidson.”After having a song he wrote featured on the Nationally watch T.V. show “Thief” staring ” Malik Yoba, In April of 2012, Awall released his album “Boomman and Mobbin” under his own label “Squashington Music. and has since opened up for ‘Rappin 4 Tay’ , Nappy Roots and is currently working the new album "SUPA NOVA" produced by J.Bellamy.
