She made her debut at age 14 singing for musicals, contests as well as national holiday events. Athésia pursued studies in classical music during college and followed up in communications at both college and university. One year later, she discovered the electronic music scene and freestyle singing where she started to collaborate with numerous DJs from Montreal’s underground scene. Soon after, Athésia started to take jazz singing courses at McGill’s Conservatory of Music. Her academic and professional experiences helped her launch her record label and entertainment production company where she performed in Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Asia with her band "Athésia & The Gentlemen". Singer/songwriter and composer Athésia, moved in 2013 to Sydney. Singing in French, English, Portuguese and Creole, she's presently working on a personal project.
