She has a foundational background in theater and has studied various techniques, including Stella Adler, Meisner, and Chubbuck. As an original member of The Lemmings, a newly developed improv troupe created by National Lampoon, she's fortunate to receive coaching and mentorship from Second City's funny guru, Allison Bills (Epic, Mash Up). In her writing you'll find that Ashli has a wildly creative imagination and undeniable comedic instincts. She's been fortunate enough to work with comedic geniuses such as Paul Rudd, James Franco, and Larry Joe Campbell.

'Lacy and Veronica Crash a Wedding' is about two quirky best-friends who get into a heap of trouble when they experiment with online dating to crash a wedding and steal the groom.

Lacy & Veronica are faced with the dilemma of having to get to a far away wedding, in hopes of winning back Lacy's ex. The broke girls plot various schemes to reach their destination. With increasing frustration, their fiascos exponentially unravel until online dating proves to potentially be resourceful.
