Some fans were tricked into thinking he was about to become a father

Justin Bieber has pranked his fans by posting a fake sonogram picture on his Instagram.

The pop star has regularly gotten into the April Fool’s Day spirit in the past, with pranks including posting TMZ’s number online, claiming it was his own.

Now, Bieber has posted an Ultrasound photo on his Instagram with no caption, but the intention seemingly being to trick his followers into thinking his wife Hailey Baldwin is pregnant.

Most fans were fast to point out that it was an obvious April fool, but some were not so quick off the mark. “Congratulations! The legacy continues,” wrote one. “NOOOO WAYYY,” added another.

Baldwin also commented on the post, making it clear that it was not a real scan. “very funny…” she wrote in the comments.

Meanwhile, Bieber’s fans have been blamed for damaging an Icelandic canyon that featured in one of his videos.

There has been an eighty percent rise in visitors to the Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon since it appeared in the star’s 2015 video ‘I’ll Show You’. Now, the area is set to close in June so repairs can be made to it.

“This canyon was somewhat unknown,” Daníel Freyr Jónsson, head of the country’s environment agency, told Lonely Planet. “The great increase in foot traffic began after Bieber came. There has been an increase of 50 percent to 80 percent between 2016, 2017 and 2018.”
