The Deadpool actor, 42, posted a sentimental tribute video to comedian John Candy, who was found dead in a Mexican hotel room on March 4, 1994 while working on his last movie, Wagons East. The Canadian actor is thought to have died from a heart attack, though no autopsy was performed. He was 43.

“It’s the 25th anniversary of John Candy’s passing. We cooked up a small tribute to a comedic genius and Canadian hero. If you haven’t seen much of his work, take a look at his films. He was a treasure. Thanks to @chriscandy4u and @therealjencandy,” Reynolds, a fellow Canadian, wrote alongside the video, thanking Candy’s kids Christopher and Jennifer.

Set to Paul Young’s “Everytime You Go Away,” the clip first introduces all of Candy’s most famous characters before showing some of his most iconic and hilarious moments.

Candy appeared in 45 films during his 20-year career, including classics like Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Uncle Buck, Home Alone and The Great Outdoors.

Candy’s work and legacy were previously remembered in a short documentary titled Tell Me About John back in 2015. Put together with footage from other documentaries and specials, the six-and-a-half minute video also showed clips from Candy’s most famous scenes, as well as touching interview with costars like Martin Short, Tom Hanks and Harold Ramis, who died in 2014.
