Ariana Grande began her ‘Sweetener’ world tour last night with an arena spectacular that spanned her entire career. Check out photos, footage and the setlist below.

Performing at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, the singer kicked the show off with ‘Raindrops (An Angel Cried)’, before seguing straight into ‘God Is A Woman’.

The show then headed straight into tunes from her latest record ‘Thank U Next’ – with a performance of ‘Bad Idea’ being immediately followed by ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend I’m Bored.’

While the show largely flittered between the two albums there was also room for older cuts too, as Ariana performed the likes of ‘One Last Time’, 2013’s ‘Right There’, ‘Into You’ and ‘Dangerous Woman.’

And as the first night of the tour drew to a close, it was arguably her two biggest hits of the last year that closed the show – with ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ being immediately followed by an encore of ‘Thank U, Next.’

Posting on Twitter after the show, Ariana wrote: “i really dunno what to say yet. for now, thank you will suffice. a dream come true typeeaa night. i love you. so much. thank you.”

She added: “Mhmm my mind is all over the place and v emotional. thank u. i don’t know what i’m posting rn tbh. at all. i’ll hit u tomorrow bc…. tonight was too much. thank you thank you thank you. i love you. ”

Ariana will now tour the whole of North America – before the ‘Sweetener’ tour heads to Europe later this year.
