Katherine Schwarzenegger is getting some help when it comes to planning her upcoming wedding,
including from her fiancé Chris Pratt!
The 29-year-old author opened up about her soon-to-be “I dos” to Entertainment Tonight on Saturday, telling the outlet that the nuptials will be a family affair.
“I feel like we’re all really involved in wedding planning,” Schwarzenegger said at the premiere of the new IMAX film Superpower Dogs. “I think that, you know, for me my family is very involved. I’m very involved, [Chris is] very involved … So it’s a great combination of everything and just a really exciting and fun [time].”
She added to ET, “I’m very happy in all areas of my life and I feel really blessed and really lucky.”

Pratt, 39, and Schwarzenegger announced their engagement on social media back in January after seven months of dating. It’ll be her first marriage and his second. The actor was previously married to Anna Faris, their nine-year marriage coming to an end in 2017 (the two share a 6-year-old son, Jack).
The Christian faith was one of the things that bonded Pratt and Schwarzenegger, so it is no surprise that religion will be front and center at their wedding. “They’re going to want a religious wedding,” an insider told PEOPLE in January. “I know that Chris does, and I assume that she does, too. God is going to be a part of this marriage.”
Back in February at The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part premiere in Los Angeles, Pratt told reporters including PEOPLE that he and Schwarzenegger hadn’t “really” figured out too many wedding details yet.
Sharing a hint about their possible wedding date, he mentioned they were “maybe” thinking of a “fall, winter kind of thing,” before adding that he and Schwarzenegger still have “a lot to get done.”

That “to do” list has included furnishing the new home they bought together, photos of which Pratt has been sharing on Instagram.
They’ve also been working hard on Pratt’s Washington state farm.
Last year, Pratt opened up about his hobby. “I have found a new passion to add to my many others. #farmlife and jack loves it!” he wrote on Instagram. “You’ll know where to sprinkle my ashes. I’ll tell you that.”
So how’s Schwarzenegger taking to the task?
“I still have a lot to learn when it comes to the lambs,” the Pedigree ambassador admitted to ET on Saturday. “I already knew they were adorable but … just like getting to hold them is just an incredible experience and seeing them interact with their moms … dogs are the same way. Just being able to see, you know, [them] come into the world and be in such a happy and great environment is just really special.”
Superpower Dogs opens in IMAX theaters on March 15.
