The gang is back — and they’re on the brink of an epic adventure.

Disney dropped the first teaser for the highly-anticipated sequel to Frozen, the blockbuster family hit that became a phenomenon when it hit theaters in 2013 and went on to make over $1.2 billion worldwide.

The first teaser shows Queen Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel) standing on a murky beach staring stone-faced at giant waves before she runs straight at them, using her freezing powers to run along the surface. Her struggle to overcome the large waves sets the tone for the rest of the teaser, which shows Princess Anna (Kristen Bell) and Kirstoff (Jonathan Groff) in much more serious situations than the original movie.

The preview ends with all three characters and the lovable snowman Olaf (Josh Gad) looking concerned over a large valley. While plot details for the sequel have yet to be revealed, the teaser hints that our favorite Arendelle royals are facing a huge challenge that is testing their strength.

Also joining the cast are Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood and This Is Us actor Sterling K. Brown.

Disney confirmed the upcoming sequel in 2015 and in Sept. 2017, Gad, who stars as the lovable Olaf, revealed that voice recordings had officially begun.

“Nothing is more exciting than getting back in the booth with this incredible team,” he captioned an Instagram from inside a Frozen recording booth. “The amazing people at @disneyanimation have created a story that carries on the incredible legacy of the original #Frozen and continues to build and expand on the characters and themes in new and exciting ways.”

Frozen 2 slides into theaters in Nov. 22.
