Dwayne Johnson is back going head-to-head with his Fast & Furious foe Jason Statham in the explosive first trailer for Hobbs and Shaw, the new spinoff movie of the hit action franchise.

Johnson is Luke Hobbs; Statham is Deckard Shaw — two former rivals who are forced to team up to defeat Idris Elba’s villain Brixton, who seems lifted out of a superhero movie.

“I am human evolutionary change,” Brixton proclaims as he’s revealed to be an engineered human, genetically modified to be bulletproof and unstoppable.

The Crown‘s Vanessa Kirby is another franchise newcomer, getting in on the action just as she did in last summer’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Hobbs and Shaw opens Aug. 2.
