Macca's first studio album in five years is out next month

Paul McCartney has shared a new single from his forthcoming album ‘Egypt Station’, and revealed the full tracklisting for the record.

You can watch the lyric video for the single ‘Fuh You’ below. It’s the third track to be revealed from the album, following ‘I Don’t Know’ and ‘Come On To Me’ which both appeared together in June.

The latest single finds the former Beatle exploring a contemporary pop sound, and is a change in direction from the relatively traditional-sounding tracks we’ve heard thus far.

The album’s full tracklisting has also appeared, with Macca tweeting an individual illustration for each track, or ‘station’ in a thread you can see below.

That tracklist in full:

Opening Station
I Don’t Know
Come On To Me
Happy With you
Who Cares
Fuh You
Confidante
People Want Peace
Hand In Hand
Dominoes
Back In Brazil
Do It Now
Caesar Rock
Despite Repeated Warnings
Station II
Hunt You Down/Naked/C-Link

McCartney has taken a hands-on approach to promoting the new record, with secret shows in London and at Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club where The Beatles first made their name.

McCartney’s arena shows planned for this year will also be tricky to attend. Earlier this month fans were left fuming after tickets for the three UK dates of the ‘Egypt Station’ tour sold out within seconds.

Despite waiting patiently for the tickets to go on sale, they reportedly found that none were unavailable as soon as they accessed the purchase page.

Posting on Twitter, one fan raged: “Been waiting since 9.30 to get @PaulMcCartney tickets as soon as it turned 10am all tickets had gone.”

Recently, Paul McCartney’s son James posed for a photo with Sean Ono Lennon, the son of Paul’s late Beatles bandmate John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
