Ariana Grande has marked the first anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack with a message of support for her fans.
“Thinking of you all today and every day. I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day”, the singer wrote on Twitter this morning.
The emotional tribute comes exactly a year after 22 people were killed and 139 wounded when a suicide bomber detonated a homemade bomb as people were leaving her concert at the arena.
In the weeks that immediately followed, Ariana made a brave return to the UK for the One Love Manchester benefit concert – which saw performances from the likes of Katy Perry, Robbie Williams, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay and Liam Gallagher.

The event raised more than £2 million for the families of victims.
Last week, Ariana opened up on the attack for the first time in an emotional interview with Time Magazine.
“The last thing I would ever want is for my fans to see something like that happen and think it won”, she explained.
“Music is supposed to be the safest thing in the world. I think that’s why it’s still so heavy on my heart every single day.”
Yesterday, it was also confirmed that arenas across the UK will fall silent today to mark the first anniversary of the attack.
All 22 venues that belong to the National Arenas Association (NAA) will take part in the one-minute show of respect at 2.30pm tomorrow (May 22). The venues taking part include Alexandra Palace, The Royal Albert Hall and The O2 Arena in London, Glasgow’s SSE Hydro, and Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.
