ABC has set the date for what it calls the world’s biggest fan-voted award show — the American Music Awards.
The awards show from Dick Clark Productions will air live on Sunday, Nov. 19. Artists in multiple genres will be honored that night — from pop/rock and country to rap/hip-hop and contemporary inspirational. The AMAs also recognize the New Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Tour of the Year, Video of the Year, Favorite Song, and Artist of the Year.
Nominees are culled from fan interaction in Billboard magazine, and with digital song sales, radio airplay, and social activity.
The two-hour show will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 19.
