It promotes the award show, which airs February 12.
Taylor Swift made one of the most memorable speeches at last year's Grammy Awards. It was so inspiring that The Recording Academy decided to turn it into a girl empowerment TV spot to promote the awards show on February 12.
Starting with a girl who looks like she's giving herself a pep talk before a performance, we see snippets of other girls practicing their craft — from basketball to playing the violin — and reciting different parts of her speech.
Although Taylor said it during her Album of the Year win for 1989 while the controversy regarding Kanye West's "Famous" lyric was going down, it was clearly an evergreen speech that can make females everywhere feel like they can do anything.
Watch the clip below and be sure to tune in to the Grammy Awards on February 12 at 8pm.
