Dave Chappelle has made a comeback on the comedy scene lately, but now he's showing off his singing chops too. Well, at least for one night. Chappelle joined John Mayer onstage on Wednesday (Jan. 4) at an intimate acoustic Los Angeles show last night for a couple songs. 

Mayer said to the crowd that the duo often perform '80s songs together "in different cities until about five in the morning" according to Billboard. This time, they had an audience.

Mayer is prepping for the release of his new album called The Search For Everything, which will be released in three parts. Chapelle is set to release three comedy specials on Netflix this year.
