West's photo-op last month at the Trump Tower hasn't paid off yet.
Kanye West may be Donald Trump's "good friend," but that's apparently not enough to warrant an inauguration invite. In an interview with CNN, Presidential Inauguration Committee chairman Tom Barrack that the inauguration wasn't "the venue" for the rapper.
"It’s going to be typically and traditionally American," Barrack said. "Kanye is a great guy, we just haven’t asked him to perform."

We're not exactly sure what "typically and traditionally American" means, but Trump's team thinks it's a quality that the Atlanta-born rapper doesn't have.
