With the 2017 Grammy Awards less than a month away, the first round of performers have been announced and include some heavy hitters.

Metallica, John Legend, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban are slated to perform this year. And considering how the Grammys have been known to be the stage for genre-crossing collaborations and other musical surprises, we're sure that the lineup will not only get more epic but also include many of our favorites.

The 2017 Grammy Awards will be taking places at the at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12, and James Corden will be taking on the hosting duties this year.
