"Digging For Windows" is the first new solo single he's released in over a decade.
Zach de la Rocha has finally released the fiery first single from his long-awaited solo project. Called "Digging For Windows," it features the former Rage Against the Machine frontman rapping about a dystopian future over an abrasive backbeat. "My fever rise in the jungle," says de la Rocha on the track, "as quick as the price spikes / the days are all night."
El-P produced "Digging For Windows" and the entire album, which will come in 2017.

De la Rocha had been rumored to release a solo record since RATM broke up in 2000, but the former frontman largely kept a low profile.
This year, his bandmates Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk formed a supergroup called Prophets of Rage with Public Enemy's Chuck D and Cypress Hill's B-Real.
