It's their first video together since 2013's "All The Time."
It's been a while since we've really seen The Strokes in a music video together. Sure, there's that 2013 clip for "All The Time," but let's be real, it was mostly old footage of the New York City band. But now they've teamed up with longtime artistic collaborator and their art director Warren Fu to make a video for "Threat of Joy." It puts The Strokes in the middle of an espionage mission over a reel of film. While the guys are doing what they do best with their instruments, frontman Julian Casablancas shows a little bit of his acting skills as he fawns over one of the ladies in the clip.
"Threat of Joy" is off their latest EP, Future Present Past EP, which is out now.
