"We celebrate inclusivity and equality," Born & Bred Festival says.
Rinse FM had Azealia Banks headlining its Born & Bred Festival this summer, at first anyway. But due to recent comments she made, the London radio station has since dropped her from the lineup.
"We have decided to cancel Azealia Banks’ headline appearance at Rinse | Born & Bred Festival," an official statement says. "Rinse | Born & Bred Festival is a celebration of rave culture and has been created for EVERYONE. We celebrate inclusivity and equality."

In the past 24 hours, Azealia dissed fans of U.K. hip-hop—one of the genres featured at Born & Bred Festival. "Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Tribe Called Quest, Busta, Wayne, Thugger, the list goes on. USA does not look to UKrap for any tips of any kind," she said.
Azealia also lobbed offensive comments at U.K. artists in general, like Zayn Malik. This had attendees demanding that Rinse FM remove her from the line-up altogether.
The Born with Expensive Taste rapper seemed unbothered by the news. "Most of the people coming to this on my day were only coming for me," she said. Rinse FM founder and grime producer Geeneus begged to differ.
Lol @AZEALIABANKS funny that Coz everyone who bought a ticket asked us to remove you 😂👍🏻
