Actors new and old will join the 217-member cast.
In the TV revival that shocked everyone, Twin Peaks is now one step closer to feeling like a reality.
The long-awaited Showtime reboot of David Lynch's classic features new faces like Amanda Seyfried, Ashley Judd, Michael Cera and Tim Roth and returning veterans such as Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, and Lynch himself in addition to the previously announced Kyle MacLachlan.
Given that the new version is set roughly 25 years after the end of the last one, it's not much of a surprise to see original actors reprising their roles, but the sheer number of folks involved will likely shock some fans.
Twin Peaks is currently slated to start early next year.
