With roles in The Hunger Games, Pitch Perfect and The Lego Movie, Elizabeth Banks hardly ever plays the villain. But in the remake of the '90s hit kids show, Power Rangers, she is channeling her darker side to play Rita Repulsa.

She shared her new look with People and dons a form-fitting reptilic costume with sharp edges and green hair. She admitted to never playing the bad guy before but is excited to convey Rita's thirst for "world domination – and being unpredictable as a character."

While she looks awesome, Elizabeth's version doesn't look like the Rita many '90s kids remember seeing. Where's her weird staff and why isn't she wearing that crazy horned headpiece?

Power Rangers is set to hit theaters in March 2017.
