Batman is back. No, we're not talking about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which opens Friday. Today Warner Bros. Pictures released the debut trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie, as in a spin-off of 2014's box office sensation The LEGO Movie. Will Arnett is back as Batman, and this sneak peek features some of his most heroic moments. This includes heating up Lobster Thermidor that Alfred prepared in the microwave.

Directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord have promised that "every era of Batman filmmaking will be acknowledged" in The LEGO Batman Movie. (Apparently that starts with Will doing his best Christian Bale-as-Batman impression.) However, unlike in any of the big-screen adaptations by Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher and Christopher Nolan, their take will answer one nagging question, as they told MTV: "Can Batman be happy?"
