"This Is for My Girls" also features Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monae and more.

Michelle Obama's latest contribution as First Lady of the United States is a female empowerment anthem. "This Is for My Girls" was released today, March 16, on iTunes to benefit her and President Obama's new initiative Let Girls Learn.

Diane Warren wrote "This Is for My Girls" to feature Missy Elliott, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monae, Lea Michele, Zendaya, Chloe x Halle and Jadagrace—all distinctive voices. Yet the collaboration sounds seamless, as if everyone focused on sounding as one.

"It's kind of like 'We Are the World' meets 'Lady Marmalade' with these strong voices and strong women," Diane said to Billboard. "When was the last time you heard a song like this or a record that had this many amazing divas on it? I'm really proud."

"This Is for My Girls" arrives ahead of Michelle's keynote address at SXSW in Austin, where it will also get its live debut. Listen here.
