This track follows "Pillowtalk," where he is punch-drunk from sex loud enough to disturb his neighbors, and "It's You," a ballad that can lull anyone to sleep. But now the former One Direction member is chasing down his ex on the dance floor, to tell her that her new beau won't be as good to her as he was. "He don't know your body, he don't do you right," he vows to a funky bassline, making "Like I Would" is the first Zayn Malik track we've heard with actual stakes.
