The alt-music fest's headliners tell us what bands they're stoked to see in Texas this month.

Most of us know about South by Southwest (and a lot of us know how insane the conference has become in the last decade), but did you know there's another festival going on in Texas at the end of March? So What?! Music Festival has been a safe-haven for alt-rock fans who don't want to deal with the Austin swarm for nine years now, and it continues to grow with names like New Found Glory, Underoath and Unwritten Law headlining this year's lineup.

The fest takes place March 19 and 20 at Quiktrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX and weekend passes are a mere $75 (yeah, you read that right). We caught up with some of So What?!'s big names to see what bands they're excited to see in Texas later the month. Check out what they had to say below:

Unwritten Law

"We've known the guys in NFG for a long time.  Ian, their bass player was a huge UL fan when they were coming up.  Solid dudes. Bayside are soldiers.  They've been through the war, not just as musicians, but as human beings. Respect." —Chris Lewis

Underoath

"There are a ton of bands I want to watch at the fest, but I don't think I'll have time to catch them all which is a BUMMER. So many friends playing, the list just goes on, but if I had to pick only one band to watch though, I think it would be Zao. Old friends, toured together in the early Underoath days, and a big influence on us early on. Excited to see them back on stage." —Chris Dudley

Saosin

“We are really looking forward to hanging with our dudes in UNDEROATH. We have toured the world with those guys over the past 12 years. After all the UPS and DOWNS we have all been thru, its going to be awesome to see them explode in Grand Prairie on March 20.”

State Champs

“I cannot wait to see the Underoath reunion this year at So What?! 10 years ago I bought They're Only Chasing Safety and would listen to it in my room while practicing my screams, mic swings, and mosh moves.” —Derek DiScanio

Emery

"Without a doubt, the band I am most excited to see is Zao. Zao is really the first band i ever heard whose only vocals were screaming. I didn't have any clue what genre they were, but it changed the way i thought about what was possible with music. Emery has copied them over and over again through ought our career. I have seen them before many times, but never thought i would see them again, and I am so glad they are back." —Matt Carter

Secrets

"Bayside is one of my favorite bands so I'm always excited to see them perform, but I'm more excited about all of the bands we are gonna be reunited with. We have a ton of friends playing the festival such as This Wild Life, The Plot In You, Myka Relocate, Slaves and a bunch more. So it's gonna be a good time." —Richard Rogers

Real Friends

"We are super stoked to be a part of the festival this year. It will be our first time playing. [We are] looking forward to watching Bayside the most. They are always one of [our] favorite bands to see live. Also stoked to spend the day with so many bands we consider friends."

Myke Terry

"I'm most excited to see the Zao reunion. They were my first metal show back in '98. You might see me in the pit!”

I See Stars

"I'd have to say it's a toss up between seeing Underoath as an original line up and Saosin with Anthony Green. This will be a first for me. It's one of those things I never thought I'd ever get to witness. Aaron is a giant inspiration to me as a vocalist and as a drummer...But also seeing Anthony sing "Seven Years" is going to mess me up good!” —Andy Oliver

The Word Alive

"Outside of being excited about the reunion of Underoath and seeing Saosin with Anthony Green again, I'm most excited to see Zao for the first time in 10 years. They were the first band I ever heard scream, and it hooked me in.” —Telle Smith

Fit For A King

"I cannot wait to see Underoarh perform. They were the first concert I had ever attended back in 2009 and planted a seed that would give me the drive to perform that I do today.” —Ryan Kirby
