Lady Gaga has been a mainstay on the red carpet this awards season. And while she made an impact with her David Bowie tribute at the Grammys, she blew everyone away with her performance of "Til It Happens to You" last night (February 28) during the Oscars. 

Sitting at a white grand piano, she put her heart on a sleeve as she belted the heartwrenching lyrics to the tune from The Hunting Ground, which was nominated for Best Original song. While the performance itself was emotional enough, she tore at everyone's heartstrings when dozens of abuse survivors appeared onstage.

Vice President Joe Biden introduced the pop singer as well as encouraged viewers to make a pledge to change the culture of sexual abuse by going to ItsOnUs.org.
