The electrofolk group take us on a majestic journey in search of meaning.
Electrofolk group THE WINTYR capture the sometimes insurmountable difficulty of making the right choice on "Followers."
After a foreboding beginning, "Followers" expands into an emotional synthpop cut. “Come sit beside me and draw upon the deep I know,” sings Evelyn Hart. “Losing the hours / unlocking powers / follow me, follow me, follow me.”
The grand visuals of the three members of the group performing amidst magnificent landscapes in search of their place in the world complements the track.
"'Followers' is about how we are often slaves to our desires…The constant pull between the worst part of you and the best part of you," says the band to Myspace.
"The music video was directed by Richard Gorven, a Canadian/South African filmmaker and musician. The concept was centered around creating three visually diverse scenes for each member of the band. This cinematic feast takes us through epic land and cityscapes, as each character deals with their own reality."
