Take in a slacker anthem from the eclectic Texas-based rocker.

John Wesley Coleman III’s impassioned, gruff vocals and fuzzy guitars stand out on "Hang Tight," a single off of the garage rock journeyman's upcoming LP Microwave Dreams (out January 27). "You gotta hang so loose," sings the self-proclaimed "trash poet." "You gotta hang so tight."

It’s an anthem of sorts, and because of that, its down-and-dirty vibe needs few flourishes. Through and through, it’s a rock song and John Coleman III knows it.

"Keep the fantasy alive because sometimes that all you got," says Coleman about the song. Listen to "Hang Tight" below and follow his advice.
