But the rest of the girls "wish her well."
As we've seen many pop groups do in the past, Camila Cabello has officially left Fifth Harmony.
News broke the internet at midnight on December 19 following the group's final Jingle Ball performance in Miami. And although there have been rumors circulating for some time now, no one actually thought this would happen — at least not yet.
"After four and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony. We wish her well," remaining members Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen and Lauren Jauregui posted on Twitter via the Fifth Harmony account.
Despite Camila's departure, the singers plan to continue on as a quartet. Camila has yet to make any comment regarding the exit.
So does this mean Fifth Harmony needs to change their name? Guess we'll wait and see. In the meantime, read the group's letter below as well as our favorite reaction to the news.
