Looks like we may have a contender for most-anticipated film of 2017.
The Lego Batman Movie isn't just a money grab. That quickly becomes clear from the new trailer for the film, which shows Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) returning home and teaming up with Robin (Michael Cera) and the new police commissioner Barbara Gordon (Rosario Dawson) to fight the Joker (Zach Galifianakis).
The animation is top-notch; the characters are en pointe and there's even some drama. Watching Batman sulk alone in his luxury home is pretty much a perfect scene.
“Famously, Batman works alone, so when he’s put into this situation, he’s forced to confront a lot of issues,” explained Arnett at Comic-Con (via SlashFilm).
The Lego Batman Movie is set to hit theaters on February 10, 2017.
