The attractions will open across the globe in the next few years.

Ever wanted to race cars and collect coins with Mario and the gang? Well, it looks like you'll soon have the chance. Nintendo has teamed up with Universal Studios to bring us Nintendo Land.

The idea behind this is "to bring the characters, action and adventure of Nintendo video games to life within Universal theme parks."

While it's currently in the planning process and won't be open until a few years from now, the attractions will include different worlds that look like the video games — complete with shops, restaurants and other interactive elements.

Nintendo Land will be built in Universal Studios Japan, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Find out more about it below.
