He plays a Chinese food delivery man turned Werewolf; what more could you want?
It's no secret that 2016 has become Chance the Rapper's year. And as he continues to become a household name, the Chicago rapper has taken on a new endeavor: starring in a feature film.
Chance will be playing Dax Lycander, a werewolf who was once a Chinese food delivery man. And excited about the new project, Chance revealed the teaser via social media on Monday (October 31). While it's only 19 seconds, it is just enough to gauge your interest into this new movie.
And director Austin Vesley had nothing but good things to say about Chance. "Being friends and colleagues with Chance the Rapper was cool because he’s interested in movies too," Austin told redeyechicago.com. "He basically told me that when the time comes that I could make something, he’d be there for me. So I wrote a role for him in the piece. While he wasn’t involved in the writing up to this point, I told him what the general idea of the role I had for him was, and he was cool with that. When we get more into production we’re going to tailor the role more to his voice and his humor."
Slice is set to release in 2017, but in the meantime, check out the teaser below.
