We'll finally get to see where the late pop star made his great work.
After months of meetings and deliberation, the Chanhassen City Council unanimously voted to rezone Paisley Park, Prince's home and recording studio, so it can become a museum open to the public.
"I think the city was very thoughtful in what they did," Joel Weinshanker, the managing partner of Graceland Holdings, which is overseeing Paisley Park told the Star Tribune. "Prince's museum is going to outlive us all."
Paisley Park has been holding temporary tours over the past month, which welcomed an estimated 12,000 people. And now with the new motion, it will be open for tours starting this Thursday (October 27) through Sunday (October 30).
