James Corden, Stephen Colbert and other comedians have also recreated “Lemonade” videos before her. This video — which also features Wanda Sykes and Joan Cusack — is a montage of its stars lip-syncing and dancing to the pop star’s empowerment anthem dedicated to black women, an interpretation which has been called “racist” by online critics.
“Why this racist, ignorant, white feminist is never held accountable for anything problematic she says is beyond me,” wrote one Twitter user.
The clip has even sparked the hashtag #AmySchumerGottaGoParty, a label Tweeters have adopted to express their distaste for the comedian’s actions.

“You know you that b-tch when you cause all this conversation. Thanks for the exclusive release Tidal! We had so much fun making this tribute. All love and women inspiring each other.”
