Warner Bros. Records on Thursday announced it will release a 40-track album, Prince4Ever, which will contain dozens of the music icon’s greatest hits, including When Doves Cry, 1999,U Got the Look, Diamonds and Pearls and Nothing Compares 2 U, according to Entertainment Weekly. The compilation album’s release date is set for Nov. 22.
It will be followed sometime in 2017 by the debut of a second disc that features previously unreleased material and a remastered version of Purple Rain. Prince’s vault of music may hold thousands of unreleased songs, EW reports.
