While most TV shows have to wait till the tail end of their current season, The Walking Dead has already announced that it's being renewed for its eighth season. And did we mention that the news came a whole week before the premiere of the series' seventh season?

Announced during The Walking Dead: The Journey So Far, which aired last night (October 16), the eighth season won't only kick off in late 2017, but will also have the show's 100th episode as the season premiere. Talking Dead, its post-show talk series and the highest rated, has also been renewed.
