While he's been mainly out of the spotlight and focusing on his family, Justin Timberlake has taken on a new project. The "Mirrors" crooner will be the executive music producer for DreamWorks Animation's upcoming film, Trolls.

In this role, he will be overseeing the music in the film as well as performing a number of songs on the movie soundtrack. He will also be the voice for Branch, "a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colors."

“I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks’ Trolls," he told Billboard. "This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it all.”
