Don't mess with Aunt Viv!
After Jada Pinkett Smith posted her video calling out the Academy Awards for this year's nominees' lack of diversity as well as calling people to boycott the Oscars, it has not only garnered over 8.2 million views but also brought out a number of reactions including Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
"People are dying," she said as transcribed in The Hollywood Reporter, "our boys are being shot left and right, people are hungry, people are starving, people are trying to pay bills, and you’re talking about some muthafucking actors and Oscars. It ain't that deep."
Janet also said that Jada had no right to get actors to "jeopardize" their own careers just because of this as well as pointed out Jada and her husband, Will Smith's, successes in Hollywood.
"You ain't Barack and Michelle Obama. And y'all need to get over yourselves. You have a huge production company that you only produce your friends and family and yourself. So you are a part of Hollywood, you are part of the system that is unfair to other actors. So get real," she said.
