Last week, Joe Jonas teased a new band called DNCE on Instagram and today the Jonas Brother and his troupe premiered their first single, "Cake By The Ocean," on Complex. Citing Hall & Oates and Earth, Wind & Fire as the main influences for his off-kilter, funk-infused pop, the track features a melody that will absorb itself deep inside your brain and stay there...quite possibly forever.

Joined by guitarist JinJoo Lee (Jordin Sparks, Charli XCX​, CeeLo Green), bassist/keyboardist Cole Whittle (Semi-Precious Weapons) and drummer Jack Lawless (who played on the Jonas Brothers' 2006 tour), we can't wait to see what DNCE has up its sleeve. Listen to the groovy lead single below.
