HBO has reportedly ordered two drama pilots from The Wire and Treme creator, David simon, and one of them is about the porn industry.

According to Variety, the series will be called the Deuce and follow the rise of the porn industry in the '70s and '80s. James Franco is currently attached to the project as not only the star, but co-producer as well. Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad) is set to direct.

The show will be set in Manhattan and explores the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry touching on the rise of HIV, the cocaine epidemic and the renewed real estate market. It's partly inspired by the career of twin brothers who became fronts for mob control of the sex industry.

And here's the kicker: Franco is supposedly playing both twins. BOOM!
