She's featured on the upcoming movie's soundtrack, so they made her a real part of the gang.
Meghan Trainor revealed her Peanuts alter ego in a tweet Tuesday, and it's pretty spot-on. Trainor is featured on the upcoming film's soundtrack with a new song titled "Better When I'm Dancin'," so The Peanuts Movie team decided to officially make her part of the gang.

"They wanted a song about confidence and knew I was good at writing those," Trainor told PEOPLE Magazine about the track. "I feel better when I'm onstage dancing and having fun, so I wrote about that!" Watch her perform "Better When I'm Dancin' " on her MTrain Tour below—and yes, she is dancing.
