The organization "terminated its contract" with the pro wrestler in light of racist rants caught on tape.
WWE swiftly fired Hulk Hogan today after transcripts obtained by The National Enquirer and RadarOnline show the pro wrestler referring to black men as "fucking niggers." WWE doesn't say exactly why his contract was terminated, just that it "is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide."
The transcripts are reportedly of a 2012 sex tape, where Hogan complains of his daughter, Brooke Hogan, dating a black man. "My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me," he says, adding, "I'd rather that if she was going to fuck some nigger, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall nigger worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player!"
“I mean, I have double standards," Hogan says. "I mean, I am racist to a point, fucking niggers. But then when it comes to nice people and shit, and whatever.”
He also allegedly called the Rock "nigger" and "sambo."
I haven't gotten confirmed audio yet, but the transcripts that I've seen have Hogan calling The Rock the "N-word" and "sambo" among others.

Hogan has since apologized. "It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it," he says, in a statement released to PEOPLE. Meanwhile, WWE has scrubbed any mention of Hogan on its official website, including the Hall of Fame. His profile page has also been taken down.
