A teenage Winehouse serenades her friend in this freshly released clip.
In a newly released clip from the forthcoming Amy Winehouse documentary, Amy, watch a fresh-faced teenage Winehouse sing to her friend on her 14th birthday.
The documentary has already debuted to much critical acclaim, although, predictably, the family of Winehouse has released a statement regarding the upcoming documentary that they call "misleading."
"They feel that the film is a missed opportunity to celebrate her life and talent and that it is both misleading and contains some basic untruths," a spokesperson for the family said. "There are specific allegations made against family and management that are unfounded and unbalanced."
In an interview with The Sun, Mitch Winehouse, Amy's father, shares that he felt sick when he first watched the documentary. "I felt sick when I watched it for the first time. Amy would be furious. This is not what she would have wanted," he said.
Amy will hit theaters nationwide July 10. The film will be released in the UK, New York and Los Angeles on July 3.
